AIM Programs

Three Programs, One Approach

AIM sessions combine games, peer interaction, and real-life conversations to help teens and young adults practice communication skills in a relaxed, supportive environment. We offer three programs tailored to different ages and goals.

Now Enrolling · Sept 2026

Company Keepers

High school-aged teens

Company Keepers is built for high schoolers who are navigating a more complex social world. Sessions use games and peer interaction to practice the communication skills that matter in high school and beyond — making friends, holding conversations, and feeling confident in group settings.

  • Age-appropriate games and social scenarios
  • Focus on conversation skills for high school life
  • Peer mentors model and support natural interaction
  • Supportive group environment with no pressure to perform
  • Tuesdays 4–6 PM in Brunswick County
  • Thursdays 4–6 PM in New Hanover County
  • 16-week program — roughly the length of a school year

What Every Session Looks Like

Across all three programs, sessions follow the same relaxed, consistent format.

First 10 min

Arrive & Settle In

Everyone arrives, grabs a seat, and gets comfortable. Peer mentors welcome participants and keep the vibe relaxed and low-key.

20–30 min

Pick a Game & Play

The group chooses a game — like Apples to Apples — and plays together. If anyone isn't familiar with the rules, a peer quietly helps them get up to speed without making it a big deal.

10–15 min

Open Conversation

After the game, the group just talks. Peer mentors keep the conversation going naturally, giving everyone a chance to participate at their own comfort level.

Final 5 min

Wrap-Up

A relaxed close to the session. Everyone heads out on a positive note, looking forward to next time.
